About Deontai

Deontai Williams is a talented and accomplished football player with a passion for helping others achieve their full potential, both mentally and physically. His personal journey through competitive sports has instilled in him the discipline, resilience, and dedication necessary to excel—and now, he’s bringing that same energy to coaching and mentorship.

High School Career: Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Williams played his high school football at Trinity Christian Academy, where he quickly rose to prominence as a standout athlete. A two-time state champion and a member of the prestigious Super 11list, Williams demonstrated exceptional skill and leadership on the field. Ranked as a 4-star recruit and one of ESPN's top 250 players in the nation, he received scholarship offers from over 35 Division I programs

 College Career: Williams continued to excel at the collegiate level. Regarded as one of the top junior college prospects in the nation, he was ranked among the top 30 junior college players by the 247Sports Composite rankings, which also named him the No. 2 junior college safety. He ultimately chose to play for Nebraska, turning down offers from Florida, Ole Miss, and Central Florida. At Nebraska, Williams showcased his skills and earned recognition through numerous accolades:

  • Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten (2021, Coaches and Media)

  • Honorable-Mention All-Big Ten (2020)

  • Nebraska Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll (Fall 2018)

Professional Career: After college, Williams took his talents to the professional level. He signed with the Seattle Seahawks as a practice squad player in the NFL before continuing his career in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. His journey in football exemplifies the drive and determination required to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
