"I feel self-conscious in the gym"
In a room full of people working out like it's their job, it can be easy to feel like everyone is judging your own presence in the gym. But the truth is, almost everyone is there to do the exact same thing - workout and leave! Knowing tat and feeling comfortable in the gym, however are two different things. Do your best to focus on yourself, your own workout and tune everyone out with an inspiring playlist and song, after a few minutes you'll be so into your workout that you'll hardly notice anyone else is there!
As a fitness expert, the best advice I can give is to not be fearful of the gym - but EXCITED about your new health and fitness journey!
& Never hesitate to ask questions to staff!
